Notes: Leroy was surrendered by his owner to the Humane Society for biting a child. With that out of the way, anyone living with a dachshund knows they can be snippy at times and should be closely supervised when small children are near. We will require that Leroy's forever home is one without small children. This fellow is 3-4 yrs. old and was neutered last week. He's still trying to mark everything but this tendency should diminish as the hormone level is reduced. Leroy loves to go on walks and explore his surroundings. He is very affectionate & loves to climb in your lap, turn over onto his back and let you rub his chest and belly.

Notes: JP is a very active youngster when it's time for play but he is also quiet and low-key when he's in his crate. We have a small play yard for our personal dogs that come to work with us and that is where JP was found late one Sunday evening. Another irresponsible pet owner strikes again! JP would do well with another young, playful dog and a large fenced yard. He is very friendly to both people and other dogs. With some basic obedience training, JP will make a wonderful house dog. He has has had all of his vaccinations, is neutered and is on heartworm preventative. We haven't seen him around children, but I have no reason to think that he wouldn't love to be a special child's best buddy.
