BARNEY was born in 1995 and is a mixed breed with lab and something else in his heritage. He is, like all of our pets, neutered. However, he still likes to act like a tough guy and we have to watch him when he's introduced to stranger dogs. He loves to play and, once he gets to know 'em, entertains stranger dogs better than anyone. Barney tries hard to please but he can always find something to get into.

Barney has become one of the regulars at Four Paws. It is strange to me that we do have trouble with Barney sticking his nose into everyone's business and tending towards aggressiveness when he is at home but he will consistantly stay out of the way at four paws.

Barney has a few health problems (lousy hips, knees, etc.) and has had seizures. In general the health problems are under control.
