Clients that wish to have heartworm prevetatives and heartworm
prevention mailed to them may wish to call the hospital. This
is a service that we have just recently started and is in response
to the pressure from "on-line" pharmacies. If you compare
prices you will find that you save very little compared to the
prices that we have always charged. This is consistant with the
policy written into our hospital manual to provide the best service
that we can provide at the best price that we can afford to provide
it. By purchasing these products from our clinic you help support
our effort to keep our prices reasonable for ALL patients. There
will be a $3 charge for mailing so combining purchases makes sense.
Purchasing in this way allows us to document continuous use of
preventatives which is required by our South Carolina Board of
Veterinary Medical Examiners. If you wish to purchase preventatives
in this way just call the hospital at 864-843-1382. A credit card
is required to purchase in this way. You can e-mail to bobmckee@compuserve.com
but leaving a credit card number there seems risky to me!
We will NOT mail these products to client that we do not maintain
a veterinarian / client / patient relationship with. Sorry. This
is a service to our clients, not a monitary project.
