Summer Austin came to work at the hospital during the summer of 2000.

Summer grew up in Liberty and attended Liberty High School. After high school Summer started school at Clemson with a "pre-veterinary medicine" emphasis.

Summer works at another clinic in Greenville most days. She has been working one weekday her helping out with our short staff. She also works every other Saturday.

1/21/01 - Summer is one of the "old veterans" now after only being here for 8 months. We all look forward to her arriving each afternoon after she gets out of school. This gives us some extra "coverage" on the days we need that and she has lots of tasks that accumulate that she gets done on the days we're not "covered up."

Summer during one of our surgeries. Summer has helped with several surgeries as an anesthetic technician and as a surgical assistant. In this case she was one of the surgeons as Tami's dog was neutered by Tami and Summer under Dr. McKee's supervision.

As promised, this is a shot of Fivel taken in May of 2001. Fivel was feeling a little off on the day this picture was taken. However he still took a pretty good picture!

And last but not least, Summer family provided us with some "cutsie" pictures of Summer as a "little girl". Some of us still think of her that way but you've gotta' watch out for her too!
